Me with hair in my face. I grew the beard on my
recent trip
to Cozumel, wanting to play the beach bum as
much as possible. By the time I got back from a
week in Cozumel followed immediately by a few days
in Oregon without shaving, it was full enough to
be worth keeping.
I'll have to see how hot it gets in the summer to find out whether or not to keep it. What do you think?

Boy, was it cold in
Millbrook Quarry
in Haymarket this particular Saturday,
just 42°. But my buddies Curt and Blake wanted
to try out their new toys, a couple of Dräger
rebreathers, that let them stay down for much longer
periods of time and give off very few bubbles. That's
me on the right, freezing my ass off in a wetsuit.
I just finished medic first aid training and dry suit certification. After I finish up Rescue Diver certification this summer I'll be most of the way to a Master Scuba Diver rating. |

Here are some shots of some friends and me at the Gold Cup
horse races in May and later that night at the Shark Club.
We got a great group of people together for the trip. Many thanks to Cynthia and Mitzi for arranging bus transportation for all of us partygoers! |
| Well, Bob and Debbie are finally getting married. A bunch of Bob's buddies decided to send him off to his doom with a three-day blowout bachelor party weekend down in South Beach, Miami the first week in June. | |

| On our first day in South Beach, we went out on a deep-sea fishing expedition. I reeled in a three-foot black-tip shark, but we let him go. | Our big catch of the day was a four-foot mahi-mahi and a barracuda. We cleaned the mahi-mahi and took it back to the hotel where the chef turned it into an incredible lunch for all fourteen of us. It also earned us ten bucks apiece from the guys in the other boat. |

| All of us at Friday night happy hour at Clevelander's, a popular watering hole. | Our last night saw a magnificent dinner at Nemo's restaurant, followed by visits to some of the better clubs in town. |

| Alexander Gray Wohlford joined the exclusive White Spot club at 6:54AM on May 8th, weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs 4 oz and measuring 20¼ inches. Congratulations to Jim, Lisa, and big sister Gabrielle! | Not quite ready for prime time, but certainly good enough for his soon-to-be buddies, here's a recent sonogram of Philip and Tracey Boyer's baby boy. His face is just discernable at the top left. For more pictures, check out Philip's web site. |
| Congratulations are also in order for Mark and Jeannine Walker, Jeff and Debbie Geiger, and Carl and Cathy Knospe! I'll get pictures up here as soon as I get them. | |
